Yo' Greg, I've got some GOOD NEWS and I've got some
BAD NEWS. The good news is there is NO bad news. Just got back from the
range, Was fire forming and shooting all ready fire formed loads and
checking various bullets for accuracy. Pre-fire formed loads with Berger
87grn match/varmint bullet were shooting @ .125" seated to kiss touch
lands and powder charge one step below Hornadys Published max load with
IMR 4064. Fed. 210 primers. M y largest group of the day measured .218"
with the hornady 87 grn. spire point. To say that I was completely
stoked would be an under statement. The Krieger barrel was showing
almost NO copper fouling!! After the first five shots through the tube I
started shooting 3 shot groups. Still no copper fouling to amount to
much. Just a little powder residue which took two wet patches (butches
bore shine) to remove after each 3shot group. I'm still "getting to
know" this rifle and expect I can do better with more experience with
it. This rifle is the most accurate I've ever owned!! I am totally
satisfied with your work and your patience with me. I'll be in touch
about re-stocking the rifle and Planning a 6 x47sm critter gitter. Just
thought you'd like to hear the good news. Thanks for a Primo smithing
job. I couldn't be happier, Dale
Hi there Greg hope you received pictures i sent
previously, thought you might like this one, roebuck shot with 6x47
lapua ,70gr nosler ballistic tip, 42.5gr n550 110yrds shot through
the head. The rifle is shooting excellent with 70gr nosler ballistic
tips and also 105gr berger vlds. Regards Mike

Hi Greg I received the rifle and craftsmanship is beautiful. The
stock feels and shoots great the action work and new barrel also. I
really appreciate the time and effort put in to it you can tell you
love want you are doing. I got a chance to shoot the fireformed
loads last weekend at 500 yds. and they shoot great I shot a 2in.
group with no load development. Anyways I just want to say hi and
thanks a lot.

Thanks for the reply Greg,
It’s nice to know that this thing will finally be coming together.
You have been the only part of this gun building process that has
been reliable. I have heard very good things about the guy who will
be putting it together too. Perhaps all the nonsense, (delayed
action, busted lathe, reamer and die issues) will turn out to be a
blessing in disguise as I got to deal with you and Bob Green. We
will be doing other projects! You don’t have to bother with an
Invoice/receipt? if you don’t need to. Just send it along with the
stock.
Thanks again,
Tim Thompson
Hi Greg,
The stock arrived yesterday with no duty or GST to pay, so thanks
for that. The inlet looks great, I probably won't have time until
the weekend to fit the barreled action, and in any case our
competition season is mostly over until September so I'm not going
to rush anything. Just need to stock up on sandpaper and Tru oil.
Regards,
Richard
Hi Greg,
Got the stock yesterday. Thank you very much. That is a great piece
of wood!
James
Hey Greg,
Just wanted to let you know I got the stock and I love it!
Got to hand it to you, it is beautiful. The inletting was perfect
definetly the best I have ever got. The profiling was very smooth, (
a lot better than other stocks i've purchased from other makers) it
took very litlle sanding to finish it off. I am very impressed and
wanted to say thank you. I will be calling again on another project
but it will be a few months. (I've already spent my allowance)
Thanks again and I wish you the best.
p.s. it is a 6mm 22-250 AI on a trued Rem, Shilen 31 inch 8 twist,
and of coarse one beautiful Model 8 F-Class.
